Model and actress Kate Upton is reportedly preparing to jet off to Italy to wed her baseball star fiance Justin Verlander this weekend (04-05Nov17).
Fresh from cheering her husband-to-be and his Houston Astros team to victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series on Wednesday night (01Nov17), the couple will soon have another reason to celebrate, according to People.com.
Reports suggest Justin and Kate will head to Europe this week and become man and wife within days, although they will have one more big sporting event to attend first, as officials in Houston, Texas have scheduled the Houston Astros' victory parade for Friday afternoon (03Nov17).
The Other Woman actress and her beau announced their engagement at the 2016 Met Gala in New York City, where Kate showed off a custom ring designed by the pitcher and jeweller Anita Ko.
However, earlier this year (17), the busty blonde admitted that although they wanted their nuptials to be all about "fun, party, tequila, and food", they had yet to discuss specifics.
"We haven't done any details," she confessed. "We are getting married, but it's really hard. Everyone's always like, 'Invite whoever you want, do whatever you want, don't feel bad about it', but you feel bad!"
By August (17), the couple still hadn't decided on a date, but it appears things have since come together quickly, if the gossip surrounding the nuptials is to be believed.
There was at least one part of the wedding planning Kate has enjoyed - dress shopping in Barcelona, Spain.
"There are so many dresses and designers, it's been fun to look around," she told U.S. news show Extra over the summer (17). "I’m excited to finalize everything."
Kate and Justin began dating in 2014.
