Kate Bosworth sings for cotton campaign

Kate Bosworth has made her debut as a singer by recording the theme tune to her new advertising campaign for a cotton company.

The Superman Returns star is the new face of Cotton Incorporated and she has recorded the vocals for the firm's latest The Fabric of My Life promo, which sees her perusing a wardrobe full of cotton clothes.

Cotton Inc. spokesman Ric Hendee reveals the actress was keen to hit the recording studio, telling WWD.com, "(Bosworth) was, in fact, anxious (to sing), and she said this commercial will give her a chance to make her singing debut."

Bosworth follows in the footsteps of stars including Leona Lewis, Colbie Caillat and Zooey Deschanel, who have all sung for Cotton Inc campaigns.
