Kanye West's representative: 'Affair allegations are malicious lies'
Kanye West's representative has blasted tabloid allegations he cheated on pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian, insisting the Canadian model at the center of the scandal is telling "malicious" lies for publicity.
Brunette beauty Leyla Ghobadi revealed all about her alleged affair in the new issue of Star magazine, claiming her first encounter with the Stronger hitmaker took place after his concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey last summer (Jul12).
The 24 year old went on to suggest the pair hooked up again in
October (12), after the reality TV star had fallen pregnant with
West's baby, and defended her decision to go public with the
explosive tell-all by saying: "This is going to destroy the
Kardashian family. It's bad. It's really bad. It's just
embarrassing. But, if I were Kim and about to have a baby, I would
want to know."
A spokesperson for Kardashian denied the report to Star magazine in
the article, and now West's people have shut down Ghobadi's
story.
A statement released to TMZ.com reads: "This most recent attack on
Kanye West and his family is totally without merit. It's a blatant
attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity,
and another in a series of malicious stories drummed up by
non-credible 'news' sources. This is a sad attempt to hurt two
people trying to live their lives."
West and Kardashian are due to welcome a daughter together next
month (Jul13).
