Kanye West "hates" travelling alone on long-haul flights because he is "haunted" by regrets and negative thoughts.

The Stronger hitmaker jets all over the world to perform concerts, but his mind races during the long journeys, leaving him overcome with emotion.

And the rapper insists he would rather sleep on airplanes - because he can't bear to be alone with his thoughts.

In a series of posts on his page, he writes, "I just did 22 hours in the air flying from Australia... that's way to (sic) much time alone with my own thoughts. I don't ever watch dramas on a plane... I don't be wanting to reflect (sic).

"Seems like I miss my loved ones the most when I stare out the jet window... There's a nostalgia in the skyscraper lights. I can sleep up to a solid nine hours on a flight... I kind of hate being awake on flights. I'm afraid that the older I get the more I'll have to regret... what do you do with regret... especially for an admitted perfectionist.

"The same thoughts that haunt me when I'm alone inspire me in front of a crowd... which demon or angel do I want to use tonight?"
