Kanye West has ditched the controversial title for his next album and changed the name to Swish.
The Stronger hitmaker announced in March (15) that the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Yeezus would be called So Help Me God, noting that "80 per cent" of the record is done.
The religious theme of the title sparked a social media backlash, and West has now announced a change of direction, writing in a post on Twitter.com, "I'm changing my album name to SWISH... I might change it again, but that's the name now."
West has yet to confirm a release date for the much-anticipated album, but he has debuted two new songs, Wolves featuring Sia, and All Day with Sir Paul McCartney.
