Kanye West and Kim Kardashian heckled after late fashion arrival

Rapper Kanye West and his new wife Kim Kardashian fell foul of the fashion elite in Paris, France on Thursday (25Sep14) when they were booed for showing up late for a Lanvin presentation.

The celebrity couple reportedly turned up 40 minutes behind schedule, forcing event producers to hold up the Paris Fashion Week runway show until their arrival.

Their tardy entrance prompted a pool of photographers to heckle West and Kardashian as they made their way to their front row seats, but the outspoken hip-hop star refused to let the jeers slide and instead confronted the snappers to defend the couple.

Walking up to the group, he said, "(Lanvin designer) Alber (Elbaz) asked to see us. Don't boo us. We're not late, we're not late!"

The incident occurred just hours after Kardashian was ambushed by notorious red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk, who threw himself at the reality star's feet and attempted to tackle her to the ground as she arrived to attend the Balmain showcase on Thursday morning.
