Justin Timberlake treats Twitter fans to free pizza

Justin Timberlake treated fans to free pizza deliveries on Wednesday night (12Oct16) to celebrate the Netflix premiere of his new concert movie.

The pop superstar recruited Oscar-winning filmmaker Jonathan Demme to capture the final date of his mammoth The 20/20 Experience World Tour, which wrapped at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in January, 2015.

The finished product, titled Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada last month (Sep16), and was released on streaming website Netflix this week.

On the eve of the online premiere, Justin took to Twitter and asked followers to send in their favorite memories of the tour in a bid to win free pizza from the singer himself.

"Tweet your favorite #JT2020Tour memory w/ (with) #TimberlakeAndChill & #YourCity," he posted on Tuesday (11Oct16). "I'm gonna send some USA folks a lil (pizza) tomorrow night."

Timberlake selected his favorite tweets and delivered on his pizza promise on Wednesday, as fans prepared to spend the night in reliving his tour highlights on TV.

Those lucky enough to receive the hot food prize shared snaps of the deliveries as requested, adding the hashtag, "#TimberlakeAndChill".

Justin has been promoting the film's release via a social media campaign dubbed #TimberlakeAndChill, a play on the popular slang phrase "Netflix and chill", which refers to partners getting together to watch a movie and have sex.
