Justin Timberlake tipped for Time To Kill role

Justin Timberlake has been tipped to take on the role made famous by Matthew Mcconaughey in a new Broadway adaptation of A Time To Kill.

The John Grisham novel, which became a 1996 film starring McConaughey, Samuel L. Jackson and Sandra Bullock, has been turned into a play which recently premiered in Washington, D.C.

The production is heading for the New York stage after its Washington run, and Timberlake is top of the producers' list to take on the lead role of lawyer Jake Brigance when the play hits the Big Apple, according to Broadwayworld.com.

The pop star has moved away from music in recent years to concentrate on acting, with roles in films including The Social Network and Friends With Benefits.
