Justin Bieber shares footage of fan chaos in South America

Justin Bieber has given a glimpse of the hysteria he's caused in South America, showing fans a video of screaming teenage girls chasing him through the streets of Peru.

Bieber fever has gripped the continent this month (Oct11) as the singer brings his My World Tour to Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Venezuela.

Authorities were last week (ends16Oct11) forced to close down a block in Argentina after crowds gathered outside Bieber's Buenos Aires hotel and caused a traffic jam.

Now the 17-year-old sensation has given an insight into a day in his life by posting video footage of another chaotic scene in Lima, where hundreds of unruly young girls mobbed the vehicle he was travelling in.

In the clip, screaming fans can be seen pounding on the windows of Bieber's tour bus and sprinting after the vehicle as it drives away.

But the Baby hitmaker appears to be taking the pandemonium in his stride, 'Tweeting', "Got stuck in some traffic. LOL (laugh out loud). I love my fans - just watch your feet."

Bieber wraps up his tour with a concert in Caracas, Venezuela on Wednesday (19Oct11).
