Justin Bieber launches school visit contest

Written by . Published: December 04 2012

Justin Bieber is offering fans the chance to meet him at their school as part of a new charity contest.

The Boyfriend hitmaker will pay a visit to the facility which wins the fundraising competition in aid of educational charity Pencils of Promise.

For every $25 donated to the organisation's Schools4All campaign, students will receive one lottery ticket to be entered into the draw.

In a video clip announcing the rules, Bieber explains, "There's an organisation I really believe in called Pencils of Promise - they build schools all around the world for children who don't have access to a quality education. So here's the deal: with every $25 donation raised by the students at your school, you'll educate another child and get the chance to win great prizes like me coming to your school."

The contest closes on 31 January (13), and the top three institutes which generate the most money will win plane tickets to take their students to the winning school so they can take part in Bieber's visit.
