Justin Bieber headbutt investigation dropped - report

Justin Bieber will reportedly not face charges over an alleged headbutting incident at a pre-Grammy Awards party.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ.com that the singer's lawyers denied Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officers' requests for a meeting to discuss the incident, which is said to have occurred at the city's Serafina eatery in February (17).

As the alleged victim, who had reportedly been filming Justin play fighting with That's So Raven actor Kyle Massey, did not want to press charges, and video evidence proved inconclusive, investigators have reportedly dropped the case.

Police officers began investigating Justin after being called to the venue by a concerned onlooker.

It was alleged the Sorry singer lunged at the male after he refused to stop filming and delete the footage, but officers have apparently now called time on their misdemeanor battery investigation.

In the wake of the incident, bosses at Serafina also tried to play down the alleged bust-up, telling TMZ.com, "We always have a pleasant experience with Mr. Bieber whenever he comes to Serafina."

The 23-year-old has endured a series of legal issues due to his wild antics over the years, including an arrest for driving under the influence in Florida in January, 2014 - the same month he was accused of vandalizing his former neighbor's Calabasas, California home.

He has also previously been involved in various clashes with members of the paparazzi, leading to a number of lawsuits.
