Jurassic World opens for business online
A new website promoting the theme park featured in the upcoming Jurassic World movie has launched online, detailing the dinosaur attractions and tourist information for the fictional resort.
The Jurassic Park sequel, starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, shows the resort finally up-and-running 22 years after the disaster depicted in Steven Spielberg's original 1990 blockbuster.
The fourth installment in the movie franchise, based on the books
of Michael Crichton, is set to hit cinemas next year (15) and fans
have been given a taster on a new website which is made to look
like an online portal for a real theme park.
The website provides a map of the park, showing details such as
restrooms, restaurants and first aid points, as well as stops for
the monorail service, a timetable for ferries, safety information
for feeding baby dinosaurs and even real time temperature read-outs
for the fictional island of Isla Nublar off the coast of Costa
Rica.
The site also features a promotional video for the onsite five star
Hilton hotel, which boasts swimming pools, a golf course, tennis
courts and a spa.
