Julianne Hough Choreographing First Dance with Her Husband-To-Be

Julianne Hough and her fiance are planning a choreographed routine for when they first dance together as husband and wife.

The Dancing with the Stars judge began dating National Hockey League player Brooks Laich in late 2013 and the sportsman popped the question almost two years later. As the couple get ready to walk down the aisle in a ceremony reportedly taking place this summer (17), one of their main focuses is mastering dance moves for the reception.

"It's happening, I'll put it that way," Julianne joked to ET Online about her impending nuptials, remaining mom about the actual date other than hinting “it is coming up”.

"I never thought that we would do (a choreographed dance), but (Brooks) really wants to do a first dance and have it be like a special thing. Even before we ever met, as a kid he really wanted to dance. He's always wanted to dance."

She also recalled a moment one evening when Brooks, 33, “started full out busting out the dance” for their special day, noting she was impressed by his ideas.

Julianne, 28, recently celebrated her bachelorette party with supermodel Cindy Crawford, actress Rita Wilson and reality star Kris Jenner among those in attendance. A total of 24 of the blonde beauty’s pals were in tow for the luxurious bash in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, but it turns out not every A-lister was planned.

"I called Kris actually," Julianne’s brother and fellow dancer Derek grinned. "I was like, 'Hey, Kris, listen alright. You know what? Can you go surprise my sister for her bach? OK, thank you. Appreciate it.'"

Julianne backed her sibling up, admitting the whole thing “just kind of happened”. She loved spending time with women from different generations as each guest passed on some special advice for the bride-to-be.
