Julia Louis-Dreyfus was the guest of honor at the White House on Friday (12Apr13) after she was invited to dine with Vice President Joe Biden.

President Barack Obama's right-hand man personally congratulated Julia Louis-Dreyfus after she won an Emmy award in September (12) for her role as a vice president in hit TV show Veep, and now the pair has finally met in person.

The actress joined Joe Biden for lunch at the iconic building in Washington, D.C. and she even jokingly dished out tips to the politician.

In audio posted on the White House website, Julia Louis-Dreyfus says, "I came to have lunch with Vice President Joe Biden and I surprise him by sitting at his desk. So he thought he'd just ask my advice on various briefs he had to deal with and I was happy to give him my advice, which he paid no attention to whatsoever."
