Journey star caught up in Salahi divorce

Journey rocker Neal Schon has found himself in the middle of a divorce battle after reportedly having an affair with the woman who gatecrashed a White House party.

Michaele Salahi left the home she shares with husband Tareq in Virginia on Tuesday (13Sep11), but when she failed to return that night, he contacted the police and reported her as a missing person.

He told authorities that he feared Michaele had been abducted because she left without taking her belongings - but it subsequently emerged that she had run off to Nashville, Tennessee to see Schon and attend Journey's concert with Foreigner.

They then moved on to Memphis, where a publicist for the rock group confirmed that Michaele and Schon were "together".

Tareq Salahi filed for divorce on Friday (16Sep11), citing adultery and abandonment for the split, according to court papers obtained by TMZ.com. The former couple wed in November, 2003.

The Salahis hit the headlines in November 2009, when they crashed a White House state dinner in honour of India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. They have since become reality TV stars.
