Jourdan Dunn and Georgia May Jagger caught in flight hell

Written by . Published: February 15 2014

British models Jourdan Dunn and Georgia May Jagger were caught up in the chaos of the U.K. storms on Friday (14Feb14) after their London-bound plane was diverted to Newcastle, England.

The models were flying in from New York to attend London Fashion Week, which started Friday (14Feb14), but their travel plans went awry as gale-force winds and lashing rain prevented them from landing at London's Heathrow airport.

The flight was diverted to Newcastle, in the north east of England, and the models then faced a four-hour journey by car to get back to the capital.

Dunn wrote on Twitter.com, "So my plane got diverted to Newcastle last night what a nightmare! But I did share a 4 hour car journey ride with Georgia M Jagger drinking wine and eating popcorn... Still a pretty decent Valentine's Day tbh (to be honest)."

According to Graziadaily.co.uk, U.S. Vogue editor Anna Wintour was on the same plane and also had to make her way from Newcastle to London.
