Josh Groban to answer fan questions during shows

Josh Groban is giving his fans the chance to interact with him during his shows by inviting them to text him messages as he performs.

The You Raise Me Up hitmaker has tour dates scheduled across the globe until November (11), and he wants gig-goers to be part of the concerts.

Fans will be able to send in their questions for Groban using their cell phones - and the star will respond onstage.

He tells Canada.com, "I wanted the arena show to be vibrant and energetic but have that intimacy and that connection with the audience. We can't do Q+A (question and answer sessions) because there's too many people. So we have text messages fans send in so I can answer them, and there are stairs where I can literally climb into the audience and talk to people."
