Jordin Sparks recovering from dental surgery

Singer/actress Jordin Sparks has been left with a swollen cheek after undergoing dental surgery earlier this week (04Mar13).

The No Air hitmaker has spent the past two days high on pain pills as she recovers from the operation, but admits the side effects from the medication haven't been pleasant.

In a series of Twitter.com posts on Tuesday (05Mar13), she wrote, "Recovering from dental surgery yesterday. Jaw is sore & the meds (sic) make me nauseous. But I'm 1 step closer having my molar back! chipmunkface... These meds have me in the strangest haze."

However, Sparks fears her puffy looks may cost her an upcoming acting job if her wound doesn't heel soon.

Returning to the micro-blogging site on Wednesday (06Mar13), she writes, "How am I gonna do this audition w/ (with) my chipmunk cheek? Maybe it will be endearing. Lol (laugh out loud)".

Luckily for Sparks, her singer boyfriend Jason Derulo still finds her attractive despite her facial swelling - and he's been nursing her back to full health.

He tweets, "Taking care of my boo after the dentist! HIGH off meds! Our conversations are hilarious right now!!"
