Jordana Brewster stays in shape by taking her own packed lunches to work.
The healthy Fast Five star steers clear of the fatty foods that caterers provide on film and TV sets and opts to bring her own snacks.
She tells Health magazine, "It's so nerdy, but I pack my own lunches of grilled salmon and brown rice, because it helps me stay on track. Craft services (onset catering) is hell. It's basically sugar and salt. Sometimes when I work long hours I have trouble with sugar."
And though she has always been naturally slim, the actress admits even she was prone to drastic diets and fads to keep off the extra pounds early on in her screen career.
She adds, "I did the cabbage soup diet, which is so unpleasant. I also went through a phase where I ate only protein shakes and protein bars, with real food for dinner, which, again, is not sustainable."
