John Stamos' mystery girlfriend revealed

John Stamos' new girlfriend has been identified as actress Caitlin Mchugh.

The Full House star let it slip he has a new woman in his life during an interview on chat show The View last week (ends04Mar16). John was recalling a recent show he played with The Beach Boys, for whom he often drums, when he revealed he had tried to set up a video call with his new lady love while onstage so she could watch one particular performance via her cell phone.

"The other night, I grabbed my phone because there's this girl I'm dating..." he began. "She loves this song Disney Girl (sic). So I grabbed my phone and put it in front of (me) to shoot the whole thing. I thought I got away with it. And people were like, 'Who are you FaceTiming (sic)?'"

John, who was previously married to actress Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2005, didn't offer up any further details about his new girlfriend, but the 52-year-old has since been photographed enjoying an ice cream date with the brunette in Hollywood, and now she has been named as actress Caitlin, according to People.com.

It is unclear how long the two have been dating, but John recently spoke about his desire to settle down and have children.

"My ovaries are rattling. Do men have ovaries?" he joked to People magazine in September (15). "They're jingling. I can hear them jingling now."

However, he knows children will come along when the time is right.

"This year has been about clearing my head, being healthy and getting my career on track," he said in November (15). "I think everything will fall into place as long as I'm good, solid and spiritual."

John is enjoying his newfound happiness after a difficult 2015, when he was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) in June (15) and subsequently checked into rehab to seek help for addiction issues. He was sentenced to three years probation in November (15) after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of drugs.
