Jimmy Kimmel and wife expecting second child together

Chat show host Jimmy Kimmel has revealed he is to become a father again.

The 49-year-old presenter has two-year-old daughter Jane with wife Molly McNearney, as well as two grown-up children from his first marriage.

On Monday night's (05Dec16) episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, he told the audience Molly is expecting once again.

“My wife, is hosting a baby inside her body. So that’s what’s coming,” he smiled, after having revealed he is set to present next year's (17) Academy Awards.

While the couple is thrilled about the pregnancy news, they won't be finding out the gender of the child before the birth.

"We got the ultrasound - which is weird because it’s like you’re already spying on the baby - but we asked the technician not to tell us whether we’re having a boy or a girl... We want that to be a surprise," he added.

"So - there’s a lot of exciting stuff going on. Congratulations to me. I’m hosting the Oscars and I had sex. Two things as a teenage boy I never thought would be possible."
