Jessica Simpson no longer planning Italian wedding - report

Singer-turned-TV personality Jessica Simpson and her husband-to-be Eric Johnson have reportedly scrapped their plans to get married in Italy.

The couple had long been rumoured to have set its sights on exchanging vows in Capri, where Simpson celebrated her 30th birthday in 2010, but sources tell Us Weekly magazine the plans have changed, and the star is now keen to get married in Los Angeles.

One insider tells the publication, "They decided to keep it simple."

Simpson recently revealed she has a date for the big day in mind but she isn't releasing details to the media.

She said, "(I'm) super excited... It'll be soon enough."

Simpson, who was previously married to 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey, and Johnson are parents to daughter Maxwell, 22 months, and son Ace, eight months.
