Jessica Alba teaches daughter to be charitable

Jessica Alba is ensuring her daughter Honor follows in her famous mother's philanthropic footsteps by giving away her toys to less-fortunate children.

The Sin City star is an avid campaigner for good causes, especially charities focusing on children and the environment, and she's keen for her four-year-old daughter to join in by handing out her old toys.

Alba tells People.com, "I talk to Honor about not wasting and recycling. I talk to her about having so many things and that there are children out there who don't have what she has.

"So when she is done playing with something or outgrows something it goes to a baby who doesn't have it."
