Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez has kicked off a weight loss challenge for women as part of her new fitness lifestyle brand, BodyLab.
The Booty hitmaker recently launched her new business venture, which aims to empower and educate women about wellness through supplements and tracking tools, and as part of a new #BeTheGirl campaign, Lopez is urging females to become healthier and a more confident version of themselves.
The 10-week program kicks off in June (15), and along the way, Lopez and fitness experts will share nutritional advice with participants, while also passing on recipes and personalized fitness plans from BodyLab.
Participants who shed at least 10 pounds in the challenge will be entered into a contest to win one of five grand prize trips to meet Lopez in New York City.
Lopez urges her fans to take part in the health challenge in a statement which reads: "I'm asking the women of America to join me this Spring in the #BeTheGirl challenge so together we can work, motivate and empower each other to be the best version of ourselves.
"When I eat, you eat. When I sweat, you sweat. When I run, you run. Let's kick start a healthy lifestyle together with the BodyLab line of products, free App and online tools."
