Jennifer Lawrence is reteaming with her The Hunger Games director Gary Ross for a new adaptation of East Of Eden.
The Oscar winner will play antagonist Cathy Ames in the upcoming big-screen version of John Steinbeck's classic 1952 novel. The part won Jo Van Fleet an Academy Award when she starred in director Elia Kazan's 1955 film version, alongside James Dean in his first major role.
