Jennifer Aniston chose mansion for chickens

Hollywood couple Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux chose their Los Angeles mansion because it came with six free chickens.

The two actors, who got engaged in 2012, moved into their $21 million Bel-Air home earlier this year (13) and have now confessed they were swayed into buying it by the clucking birds in the yard.

In an interview with GQ magazine, the 42-year-old actor says, "We inherited the chickens from the previous owners... They were like, 'Of course we'll get rid of the chickens,' and we said, 'Are you crazy? Don't get rid of the chickens. That's half the reason we wanted this place.'"

The Iron Man 2 star also states how he had to bid goodbye to his treasured graphic art collection before moving in with the We're The Millers star, adding, "I have these beautiful wax-museum pieces, handmade, from the 1800s, from a museum of curiosities.

"They're just these open mouths, with tongues, and in the throats are different stages, labeled, of syphilis and gonorrhea and whatever... Those definitely found a great place in my office in L.A... They weren't going to be above the fireplace anytime soon."
