Jenna Dewan Tatum and her movie stud husband Channing Tatum's busy schedules help keep their sex life red hot.

The actress and her man always seem to have multiple projects on the go, which leaves little time for romance, but she insists absence really does make the heart grow fonder - and she craves sexy time with the Magic Mike star whenever he's not around.

Jenna, who will be hosting Jennifer Lopez's new competition show World of Dance, tells Redbook magazine, "We are not sex schedulers - not yet. Give us a couple more years. Maybe with child number two. There's a beauty in being two busy people because we get a lot of time to miss each other. To continue to miss someone after so many years is kind of a blessing in disguise."

Jenna, who is also mom to the couple's three-year-old daughter Everly, also tells the publication she likes to look good even when her husband isn't around, because doing things that benefit her reflects positively on her marriage.

"I think all women should keep it exciting for themselves," she continues. "People always ask, 'Do you do anything to keep it fresh for your man?' I hate that question. I'm like, 'No. Why is it for your man? I do things to keep it fresh for myself. The lingerie I buy is not for him necessarily. It's for us and for myself. If you feel sexy, then it's good for you'."

The 36-year-old and Channing have been together since 2005 and she admits transitioning from their 20s to 30s has been the most difficult aspect of their relationship. She explains she has had to learn how to communicate about concerns or issues she has more effectively than she did when she was younger.

"You change when you're together from 25 to 35," she says. "I think maybe in my early 20s, I might have tiptoed around issues or didn't want to make too many waves. Now it's like, 'This is how I'm feeling!' You have to be OK with the other person becoming defensive, to let them be emotional and accept that it won't be OK for a while."

One area Jenna and Channing are always on the same page about is feminism. The actress praises her husband for championing women's equality.

"We should want equality for men and women," she adds. "Men should want that too. Chan is for women's rights and so am I. Women should have the right to be the best they can be and make their own choices for themselves. Our daughter is young, but I think as she gets older, she's going to be all about the standard for women we keep at home - she's going to be strong."
