Jena Malone engaged

Actress Jena Malone is engaged three months after becoming a first-time mom.

The 31-year-old The Hunger Games star took to Instagram on Tuesday (30Aug16) to announce the news and flash her engagement ring in a photo of her holding Ode Mountain, her son with new fiance Ethan DeLorenzo.

"One day, after all the youthful rushing quiets in your heart, you realize there’s nothing more you need," she captioned the sweet photo of mother and son. "Nothing more you want to achieve than to build your life around love."

"And oh the things we will get to build together," she added. "I couldn't be happier. I love you Ethan."

She also posted the hashtag #isaidyes alongside an emoji of a ring.

Malone and DeLorenzo announced the birth of their son on Instagram in May (16).

Beneath a family portrait, Jena wrote: "The best weekend of our lives!!!

"What an incredible blessing to be chosen by this amazing, kind, gentle and beautiful soul to be his parents. Humbled and in complete awe that we get to experience the most ancient and transcendent love that exists."
