Jay Z and Kanye West are hitting the stage together again to kick off tech company Samsung's four-day concert series at the South by Southwest festival in Texas.

The Watch the Throne collaborators are heading to Austin for the special concert on Wednesday (12Mar14), marking the first time West has performed with his pal since he signed to Jay's Roc Nation label earlier this month (Mar14).

Wristbands gaining fans access to the event will only be given to Samsung Galaxy phone owners who download the company's new radio app, Milk Music, on their devices.

Jay previously partnered with Samsung bosses last year (13) when he gave users the chance to listen to his Magna Carta Holy Grail album days before its official release.

West and Jay's concert location will not be released until the day of the show.

Other musicians taking part in Samsung's mini-music festival at SXSW are Janelle Monae, Gary Clark Jr., Broken Bells and Cut Copy.
