Jason Derulo dreams of pursuing Broadway career

Jason Derulo dreams of putting his music career on hold to appear on Broadway after turning down a role in a hit stage show when he was starting out.

The Wiggle hitmaker studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City before shooting to fame and was offered a role in Broadway musical Rent after graduating.

He turned the job down to pursue a career in the music industry, but Derulo longs to go back to the stage to finally fulfil his Broadway destiny, telling Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "Broadway is where it all began for me, I studied all kinds of dance and music so I'd like to go back one day."
