Janet Jackson visits refugee camp in Jordan

Janet Jackson made a rare public appearance by visiting a refugee camp in Jordan on behalf of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on Wednesday (17Dec14).


The All For You hitmaker is an ambassador for the youth charity, and decided to meet some of the people at the Zaatari refugee camp, which shelters, assists, and protect thousands who have crossed from war-torn Syria into Jordan.


Jackson and her billionaire Qatari husband, Wissam Al Mana, were photographed with children at the camp, as the pop star doled out hugs to the excited kids.


The couple also posed for photos with the group of tots, with all of them holding up peace signs.
