Jamie Lynn Spears seen breaking up brawl in footage

Film footage has emerged showing actress/singer Jamie Lynn Spears brandishing a knife to help break up a terrifying brawl in a sandwich shop in December (14).

Britney Spears' younger sister was eating at the Pita Pit sandwich restaurant in Hammond, Louisiana when her female friend was apparently attacked by a fellow diner and a fight broke out.

It was reported that Spears heroically saved her pal from the brawl, and now surveillance footage, obtained by TMZ.com, shows her dashing behind the counter to grab a long butter knife, which she points at diners while yelling at them to leave the shop. Most customers exit following her warning.

Cops were called to the scene following the incident but Spears' pal did not want to press charges.
