Jamie Foxx will perform an intimate set at a charity event hosted by Scarlett Johansson to raise funds for those still affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The Avengers actress has teamed up with the Friends of Rockaway community group to help residents of the Rockaway Peninsula on Long Island, New York who are still homeless after the 2012 disaster.
Johansson and her twin brother Hunter will host the house rebuilding gala for the Giants of Generosity non-profit organisation at Hudson Terrace bar in Manhattan on 18 November (14) while Foxx will provide musical entertainment.
He writes in a post on Twitter.com, "I will be performing w/ (with) host #ScarlettJohansson to support #HurricaneSandy recovery."
Hurricane Sandy caused chaos throughout the Caribbean and America's east coast. It had been downgraded to a tropical storm by the time hit hit New York and New Jersey, but still caused millions of dollars-worth of damage.
