Unbroken star Jack O'connell has been cast as late fashion designer Alexander Mcqueen in a new biopic.
The film will be based on Andrew Wilson's biography Blood Beneath the Skin and will center on McQueen's creative process before one of his shows in 2009, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Principal photography on the movie is set to begin in January (17) and Andrew Haigh will direct.
This will be the second project inspired by McQueen's life - last year (15), British actor Stephen Wight tackled the role of the fashion designer in London stageshow McQueen, alongside Dianna Agron, who played fictional fan Dahlia.
McQueen committed suicide in 2010.
