Intruder arrested at Clay Aiken's house

Clay Aiken suffered a scare at his North Carolina home earlier this month (Apr13) when an intruder was arrested for breaking in.

Barbara Saylor was detained after allegedly forcing her way into the gated community where the former American Idol star lives and walking onto the grounds of his property.

Police were called to the scene and the 57 year old was taken into custody. She was subsequently booked on charges of misdemeanour stalking and misdemeanour first degree trespassing, according to a police report obtained by TMZ.com.

The star was home at the time of the incident.

Saylor is scheduled to appear in court on 24 April (13).
