Iggy Azalea reveals boyfriend Nick Young's near-death experience with dolphin

Iggy Azalea's basketball star boyfriend Nick Young has developed a serious fear of dolphins after one jealous mammal almost drowned him while he was on vacation in Cabo, Mexico.

The Fancy rapper shared the story of her man's brush with a dangerous dolphin with fans on Twitter.com on Monday (09Feb15), claiming the encounter had scarred the sportsman for life.

She tweeted, "Nick is scared of Dolphins. A dolphin in Cabo tried to kill him once. I was there and to be fair, it's true. Now he won't go on the wild dolphin snorkel tour. Lol (laugh out loud)."

Young has since confirmed the news to ESPN.com, recalling, "He was playing with everybody else, doing what dolphins do... It was my time to ride the dolphin. For some reason, he took me all the way to the bottom (of the ocean). He was trying to drown me..."

The Los Angeles Lakers player is convinced the mammal was out to get him and jokes, "He was trying to kill me. I think he was trying to get on Iggy. He was a little friendly, kissing her and stuff. He was trying to take my woman."
