Iggy Azalea insists 'Nick and I are good'
Rapper Iggy Azalea insists she is "good" with her fiance Nick Young since his recent cheating scandal.
The Fancy rapper was hit with fresh allegations the Los Angeles Lakers player had been unfaithful in March (16) when a video was leaked online showing him confessing to cheating on her.
It seemed the scandal had not rocked their relationship when Iggy
wore her engagement ring to the iHeartRadio Awards in California on
Sunday (03Apr16) and she has now spoken out about the scandal,
telling a Twitter user, "nick and i are good babe" after they
offered to help Iggy clear his belongings from their house.
After another person weighed in and called the rapper "tragic", she
replied, "When youre (sic) grown and actually build a life with
someone you might understand... yeah, thats life... youll f**k up
in your own ways too, relationships are hard work (sic)."
Iggy, 25, also blasted New York Post reporters for a story they
wrote about Nick's dwindling sports career, following a decision to
remove him from the basketball team's active roster on Sunday.
In her response, she acknowledged Nick's cheating, but denied
suggestions there are problems at home, claiming the media were
"trying to turn it into a breakup".
"hey, i know its a sexist world we live in and all," she wrote
directly to the site's Twitter page. "But how about you not blame
the women for a mans self professed unfaithfulness... oh and ps.
things a (are) great at home."
Nick, 30, popped the question last year (15) and they were planning
to marry this year (16) but the couple pushed the big day back so
Iggy could embark on a tour.
