Country music sensation Hunter Hayes is aiming for a Guinness World Record for playing the most concerts in 24 hours.

As part of the Hunter Hayes 24 Hour Road Race to End Child Hunger, the singer/songwriter will attempt to play 10 shows in 10 cities and break the record for most gigs played in multiple cities in a day. The current record is held by The Flaming Lips with eight.

The whistle-stop tour will begin with a TV show in New York on 9 May (14) and includes stops in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Jersey, before wrapping up with a 5am concert in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 10 May (14).
