Hugh Jackman's wife has never seen his real body

Hugh Jackman is considering turning his back on his musclebound movie roles because his wife has never seen his real body.

The Australian movie hunk has always been fighting to bulk up or lose weight for characters like Wolverine, Van Helsing and Jean Valjean ever since he and Deborra-Lee Furness first got together - and he has realized he has never let himself go.

He tells the Globe, "When I met her, I had to put on a lot of muscle. I was playing a prisoner, I had tattoos and everything. She's never really seen me with my real body.

"She will say to me, 'Your job as my husband is to look bad. OK? Be in bad shape, be overweight, be schlubby, so I look great!' And she's right."
