Hugh Jackman is urging fans to use sunscreen and seek regular skincare advice from professionals after discovering a cancerous growth on his nose.
The Australian star posted a photo of his bandaged nose on Instagram.com on Thursday (21Nov13), revealing he recently had a skin cancer scare.
The Les Miserables star's wife Deborra-Lee Furness encouraged him
to get the "mark" on his nose checked, and he was stunned to learn
that she was right to be concerned.
Jackman writes, "Boy, was she right! I had basil cell carcinoma.
Please don't be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE
sunscreen!!!"
