Hudson trial jurors asked how much they know about singer

Potential jurors in the trial of the man accused of killing Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew in 2008 have been asked to fill out a questionnaire all about the Oscar-winning singer and actress.

Court officials are keen to rule out any bias in the case, which is set to start in Hudson's native Chicago, Illinois - and they're trying to make sure they have no fans among the jury members.

The questions, obtained by media outlets on Friday (06Apr12), include references to her TV and movie appearances.

Those considered for jury duty have also been asked if they have ever watched American Idol - the show that provided Hudson with her breakthrough - or Dreamgirls, for which she won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar.

Hudson is expected to attend the trial.

Her sister's estranged husband William Balfour is charged with the murders.
