How To Train Your Dragon 2 was the big winner at the Annie Awards 2015 after taking home six honors including the coveted Best Animated Feature accolade.
The movie also picked up Animated Feature Production awards for Directing (Dean DeBlois), Character Animation (Fabio Lignini), Music (John Powell), Editorial (John K. Carr), and Storyboarding (Truong "Tron" Son Mai).
Despite receiving a massive 13 nominations, The Boxtrolls only took
home two awards, for Production Design and Voice Acting for Sir Ben
Kingsley.
The Annie Awards, which recognize accomplishment in animation in
both films and television, took place on Saturday (31Jan15) at
UCLA's Royce Hall in Los Angeles.
