Hit indie film The Visitor to be adapted for Broadway as a new musical

Hit 2007 film The Visitor is set to hit the Broadway stage as a new musical.
Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey will adapt writer/director Tom McCarthy's project, which starred Richard Jenkins as a widowed professor who reluctantly helps two young immigrants he finds living in his Manhattan apartment.
Jenkins received an Oscar nomination for the role and McCarthy won
the Independent Spirit Award for Best Director.
Kitt and Yorkey have enjoyed success on Broadway in recent years -
they're the brains behind Next to Normal and Idina Menzel's new
production If/Then.
