Henry Cavill had to drastically reduce his intake of liquids during the filming of new Superman movie Man Of Steel, because his tight superhero costume made trips to the bathroom unbearable.
The British actor dons the famous caped suit to play a new incarnation of Clark Kent's crime-fighting alter-ego, but reveals toilet breaks were rare while filming in chilly Canada due to the amount of time it took to remove the skintight outfit.
He explains, "It's quite a tight suit. Going to the lavatory wasn't the easiest thing. It would take some time to get in and out, I'd have to wait. (While filming) in Chicago, I could drink as much as I wanted because I'd sweat, and it would be fine. But (in) Vancouver, where it was cold... I got one bottle of water every half-day - brutal."
