Heidi Montag has sparked rumours of marital troubles with Spencer Pratt after she sacked her husband from managing her business affairs and replaced him with a psychic.

The Hills stars married in 2008 and Montag placed her partner in charge of her career when she planned to reinvent herself as a singer.

She recently underwent a massive cosmetic surgery overhaul, and her husband supported her despite admitting he had reservations about her transformation.

Now rumours of a rift have surfaced after Heidi Montag announced she has dumped Spencer Pratt as her business manager.

She tells People.com, "After the incredible experiences I have had healing my life and truly connecting to my dreams with healer intuitive Aiden Chase, I have officially asked him to become my manager. Having an intuitive psychic leading my team gives me an edge no one else has.

"No longer is my husband the face of my business or managing my career. The time for change is now. Never mix business and pleasure. We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi."
