Harry Styles' Dunkirk trailer released

One Direction star Harry Styles' acting skills have finally made it to the Internet - the trailer for his new war film Dunkirk has debuted.

Director Christopher Nolan's much-anticipated film, which chronicles the most famous battle of World War Two, will hit cinemas in July (17), and the official trailer landed on Wednesday (14Dec16).

Styles, who cut off his trademark long hair for his role as a soldier in the movie, appears briefly in the footage but does not have any lines in the teaser.

The film also stars Tom Hardy, Sir Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance and Cillian Murphy.
