Harry Potter fans are sure to tear up when the DVD of the final film comes out - because it will feature one of the most poignant behind-the-scenes videos ever made.
An assistant director on the set of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 decided to count down the days to the wrap party that ended the film franchise by filming every star, crew member, director and producer on their birthday as they performed with a golden board.
David Heyman, the man who first spotted gold in author J.K. Rowling's books, spent the last day filming the empty offices and sets and admits he has fitting finale footage that will make every Potter fan sob.
He tells WENN, "If it was somebody's birthday (they did it) and if Jo Rowling turned up on set, she did it - it was visitors, friends, birthdays; everyone from the writer, to the director, to the producer.
"At the end of that the assistant director went around the set to the offices and had everyone wave goodbye. So the film was the Golden Boards which were inter-cut with Robbie Coltrane playing air guitar in his Hagrid costume and then it ended with this shot going through the offices with everyone waving goodbye.
"The final scene is (director) David Yates getting in his car and driving off."
Heyman reveals he showed the fond farewell footage at the wrap party, adding, "There wasn't a dry eye in the house and we were all sobbing."
