Hailey Baldwin 'offended' by criticism of her Christian values

Hailey Baldwin finds it "offensive" when she is questioned over her Christian faith.

The Arizona-born model launched her career in 2014 and has since gone on to front campaigns for the likes of ModelCo cosmetics, Tommy Hilfiger and Philipp Plein.

While Hailey rises through the ranks of the modeling industry, she continues to hold strong to her spiritual values, having been raised a Christian evangelist by her actor father Stephen Baldwin and mother Kennya Deodato.

"I quote the Bible all the time. I take it into my everyday life, I'm quite serious about it," she told Elle magazine. "It's not funny when people joke about it; I actually find it quite offensive. It's something that's really important to me and I've seen it change a lot of people's lives."

The 20-year-old explained that she plans to continue preaching about her faith throughout her life, and wants to find a partner who shares similar values. At present, Hailey is seeing YouTube star Cameron Dallas but is hesitant to confirm they are in a relationship.

"He's not my boyfriend yet. Technically, I'm single," she shared, adding that her parents only recently met her new beau.

As well as an interview with Elle magazine, the blonde star was also tapped to appear on the cover of the forthcoming July issue and poses up a storm in a range of '70s-inspired ensembles for the accompanying photoshoot.

Hailey also shared she is keen to brush off any insinuations that she is simply an "Instagram model", and is determined to be taken seriously in the modeling industry.

"I work my (butt) off to make what I have and to prove that this is what I want to do... I want to be a model. I don't think I would be where I am if people didn't see something in me," she smiled.
