Gwyneth Paltrow opens Goop Lab with help of celebrity friends

Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated the launch of her Goop Lab on Friday (15Sep17) with the help of her famous friends.

The actress launched her lifestyle brand with a weekly e-mail newsletter in 2008 and later expanded into e-commerce.

But taking the next step with her business, Gwyneth unveiled her first boutique at the Brentwood Country Mart shopping center in Los Angeles on Friday, where she was joined by her boyfriend Brad Falchuk as well as celebrity friends including Demi Moore, Molly Sims, Edgar Ramirez, Rachel Zoe, Jennifer Meyer, and Christian Louboutin.

"I want people to feel like they are coming into a home," she told Vogue at the launch. "I didn't want it to feel quintessentially breezy Los Angeles. I wanted it to have a bit of an edge."

Christian was not only there to attend the opening, as he and Gwyneth have also just unveiled a shoe line - the Goop x Christian Louboutin capsule collection.

Gwyneth, 44, also took to Instagram to share images of the new boutique, with one image showing a room filled with plants and flowers.

"Dreams come true. Come see us!" she excitedly captioned the snap. "With a real home in mind; it is complete with a living room that customers are welcome to lounge in, an apothecary for trying on products, a functioning kitchen, plus a greenhouse and a porch.

"We see the store as an extension of @goop HQ: You'll see our food editor cooking in the kitchen at events or our beauty buyers trying out the in-store beauty services."

The Goop store officially opens to the public on Saturday (16Sep17).

And it seems the blonde star couldn't be more excited for her brand to officially have an official store, also taking to her Instagram account to write, "Tomorrow #goopLAB OFFICIALLY OPENS! Dream come true. Come see us!"
