Rapper Gucci Mane pulled out of a concert in Boston minutes before he was scheduled to take to the stage after his flight was canceled.

The hip-hop star was due to kick off his Trap God tour at the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts, on Wednesday night (07Apr17) but fans discovered he would not be performing 90 minutes after the doors had opened, by which time some of the support acts had performed and the auditorium was filled to capacity.

Gucci Mane, real name Radric Delantic Davis, took to Twitter afterward to explain he was forced to cancel as bad weather had disrupted his travel plans.

"I can't believe this s**t! All this bad weather in ATL no planes couldn't leave . S**t finally cleared up now my show rescheduled for 4/11 !" he tweeted.

When a skeptical fan replied saying he had probably just missed his flight, he replied, writing, "No I am actually in Boston right now i was at airport over 12 hrs trying to make it to my show."

He told another, "I'm here now nothing I could do I'm mad too s**t," before addressing all his followers by tweeting, "I appreciate all my fans in Boston who came out but this was an act of God. Flash flood and tornado. Goggle (sic) it. I will make it up to y'all."

He is due to perform in Boston on Tuesday (11Apr17).
